love
Author: Sharmishtha Basu
A bookworm transformed into an addicted writer. I love to write and illustrate them myself. By love I mean love, no half-hearted relationship, a full-fledged, passionate love, I can’t pass two days in a stretch without writing/painting (cyber), just feel empty like lovers do when their lovers are away on a tour! Even though I am thoroughly enjoying self-publishing with amazon, but if you like my work and want to publish my works in your magazine, books or better if you want to publish a book of my works please make me very happy by contacting me. Or if you want to sell my works on commission basis only!! contact me, I will be quite relieved. Honestly writing and selling your own work is a very BORING combination. So you are more than welcome! Mail me @sharmishthabasu@hotmail.com, sermistabasu@gmail.com or go to- my blog (I have 16 blogs in wordpress, all active, some on daily basis, every one on weekly basis screaming and vowing my LOVE for writing and painting- this one is first-born, so special) mydomainpvt.wordpress.com (You will get the link to my remaining blogs there) or you can check out my ezines- monthly- Agnishatdalezine.wordpress.com And Agnijaat.wordpress.com if you want fb you can go to my page facebook.com/sermistabasu, linkedin- linkedin.com/authorsharmishthabasu my email id sharmishthabasu@hotmail.com and sermistabasu@gmail.com I am in goodreads and completelynovel too http://www.goodreads.com/sharmishthabasu http://completelynovel.com/sharmishtha-basu http://amazon.com/author/sharmishthabasu I guess I said enough about myself, right? Love indeed is. 🙂 nice one!
I am a little backdated when it comes to love- fate may ruin that decision but to me a love without any intention for marriage is not my type of love.
I wont even take a single step in that direction.
powerful! and quite true too…wonderfully knit!
Thanks a lot Sarah- this is what i think about “my” love.
Great take on Love and its image prompt!!
Thanks a lot Becca. Repainting that prompt was a bit tough.
Well done haiku! Happy Valentine’s Day and thanks for visiting my blog!
well, i think i will be thanking you for your fabulous posts, glad that i went there.
‘hearth or pyre’…makes it very sensitive and powerful!!
Love is the purest word (feeling) in this world to me.
Interesting point you make there. Hope you have found your love.
Well yes- the love i have found is greater than any other love 🙂
love of God and love for God which ultimately spills on the whole world itself.
amorous love- well in my last birth i spanked the little boy with bow and arrows so much that he swore that he wont walk in the same lane in which i will. 🙂
seems he remembers his oath.
A very profound introspection. Beautiful and thought provoking.
Thanks a lot Mike. You are a wonderful person.
What a perfect haiku for the prompt. Have a beautiful day!
Gerardine
Thanks a million times Gerardine. Wish you a fabulous day. 🙂
Absolutely! Love lives on, place no bar! It burns away.. its embers always remain in the hearts of its owners.. the lovers…
A lovely one, Trisha..
Beautiful words Kavita. Thanks. 🙂
I’m pondering this one… Hope your day was a happy one.
My days are happy- I dont recollect the last unhappy day I had in last couple of years. 🙂
So nice to hear that. 🙂
hard-earned things dont get lost easily 🙂
So true. 🙂 I’m happy about that.
well i guess some evil demon was reading our interaction.
Our actions dictate where it burns.
My words exactly.
Love in the hearth or pyre? Depending on your meaning/interpretation of pyre, this could be dark. Pyres that I am most familiar with are funeral pyres. Hmm…
Shalom.
i meant that pyre- think about romeo, juliet- if they were hindus they would have been cremated in a pyre.
and if you truly love someone and dont get him (forget about betrayal) it really burns like a pyre in your heart- consuming the heart itself. It refuses to forget and relive.
yes, surely a fire that can burn our core 😦
full agreement. from core of the heart.
this is so true..
love it 🙂
Thanks a lot Sumit.
I missed this one, Trisha! I like the contrast of heart and pyre. Both intense.
this is what i believe to be the truth.
nothing can cover it when it burns…
stunning imagery.
nothing- only lucky people can rebuild after it.
powerful and true.. Thanks Trisha..
Someone is Special
very rare people have been spared from this fire.
true words 🙂
Anyone who has loved with his/her entire being knows how true it is.
