Patreon Posts 12

I know many of you are already thinking that most of my posts in my blogs are my old works, years old quite often. Where are my new works? Have I stopped writing new ones?

Well I am still writing and painting as enthusiastically as before. But these days they are channeled into four other platforms- my annual republished kindle books (https://amazon.com/author/sharmishthabasu) -they devour quite a huge no. of stories and poems every year. Quite a lot!

my bookstore in shoptly (https://shoptly.com/sharmishthabasu) Another section goes to my shoptly bookstore, here I not only publish my monthly Ezines Agnijaat and Agnishatdal I also publish a set of books of poetry and story. They are quite merrily illustrated and are available as pdf files. Yes you can read them perfectly in your cellular phone and of course in computer.

My twin Ezines Agnijaat and Agnishatdal (both English, monthlies) don’t feature much stories or poems but publish all my new essays and articles and again, truckload of illustrations.

and my patreon profile (https://patreon.com/sharmishthabasu) This one again contains bunch of stories, poems and they almost always are illustrated. If not then the stories are very long and of the type that can’t be illustrated.

I have been so stuck up with my creations that I have ignored my blogs and other social media profiles since 2015 I believe. So, if you enjoyed my works quite amply then I think it is high time that I bring you up to date, to share what I am creating these days and how can you get them!

It will be a lengthy affair, so have patience. I will be updating you about my four years of hyperactive creativity!

I will start with Patreon. It is sort of my launch-pad to make my creativity actually become my career. So since creating my profile there I have been updating 5 works each month, two are the Ezines, the remaining three are writing and paintings. Works my blogger friends thoroughly enjoyed. Stories and poems with ample amount of illustrations!

Anyone who becomes my patron there can chose from few tiers-

You can check them from my profile- https://patreon.com/sharmishthabasu

I will share some works from there, hoping they will impress potential patrons, readers who love the stories/poems I write and will love to get a few of them each month. We all have our monthly quota of books we feed the bookworms inside our brain! I did before I started spending that time into writing and painting. I used to read almost anything I could lay my hands on. So I can guess there are many bookworms like me out there who are not writers, just readers and maybe a few of them will get hooked by my writing.

“It was sheer luck that he joined us, as his greed is endless. When I first saw him as a twenty-one year old I knew with proper motivation, he would become a priceless tool. He looks like Cupid and acts like the Devil. If you see him, brother, you wouldn’t believe that his soul is as dark as a black hole. I have seen him in action, or else I would not have believed either. When I handed him this assignment, I promised him that this would be his last job. I will relocate him with his lover Sangita to any country he wants. But he refused. He said he would retire after crossing forty. All he requested was wiping out his past completely, so he can work for another decade.”

“I have a deep feeling that one day he may join you around the meeting table.” Gehlot laughed. A raucous chuckle, resembling the call of a hyena, echoed in the garden.

“I still remember when I asked him to lure his own brother into our organization, a brother he was insanely jealous of. The evil glint in his eyes said it all. I really had my eyes on his brother for a long time, who was far more handsome and brilliant than he. Sadly, his brain was filled by principles and morals. I trapped him but could not keep him. He got killed trying to kill me. We had to show it as suicide. I never had to use it to blackmail, or rein Ashok. He supplied his family members, one after another, to us. Some of the girls he supplied are exquisite. They are adding sparkles to Kumarsaab’s resort.”

“They have the look of fairies and the upbringing of nobles, soothing for eyes and bodies. They are a super hit with business men who want some time with cultured, corrupted women, away from boring wives.”

“This is why I instruct you all to work through families. They will fall or stay together. No one would like to be branded as a man or woman who pimped their own sibling or sister, right?” K said in a cold voice.

“Whenever you see families with good looking girls, go for the ugly ones, test if they are insanely jealous of the good-looking ones, and if she is, catch her!

She will be easy, and her jealousy will work wonders for us.”

“Once she slips, she would be a priceless weapon. She would die before getting caught.”

K uttered these venomous words with the ease of a serpent slithering to strike its unsuspecting prey. His dark, handsome features carved out of black marble, resembled a black cobra.

Gehlot nodded in assent.

“It’s very safe to work through families. There are so many advantages: their looks resemble; they share the same history; their natures and voices resemble. They will be far more earnest when trying to save one another’s back. Sometimes we can shuffle them amongst themselves without being caught.”

They sat on a bench in the garden. A sweet fragrance was swimming in the morning air, soothing the very soul. But the dark countenance of the men said they did not have much in the way of soul to feel the purity and beauty.

“How is the work going on in RP?” K asked.

“Quite well! I will soon replace a very important piece of the Roshan Group of Industries. I’ll let you know within a couple of months. I am working on it, but as you know, we just have to wait for the right moment. Another of my jewels is hovering around that piece. She is not an easy catch, brought up with very strong values. But as you know, consistency often pays out well. Raktim, this boy of mine, is fantastic, just like Ashok. But he begged me to set him free after this assignment; he wants to marry Lata’s sister. Lata will ensure his settling down in Russia. Her sister is already relocated in Moscow, waiting for him, and has changed her name to Swetlana from Sweta. He is more eager to pack up the case than I am. ” he smirked.

“Don’t let his over-eagerness spoil the game! Russians and some European look just like Indians. As I have instructed you all, all you will have to do is train these boys and girls their languages and accents.” K said. “The replacement will be done by my representatives there.”

“He won’t spoil a game he has started. Too egoistical for that! Your suggestions are pure gold! I always keep them in mind. I pick up greedy people, and then give them so much wealth that they would never even think about going back to their earlier situation. And when someone dares to disobey or ditch me, I snatch away everything from them, everything they have, and then bar all the ways for them and watch the fun. Show that to others too, so that no one else dares to follow them. It works wonders on discipline.” Gehlot was beaming like a happy puppy, whose underbelly was tickled by his master.

“If anyone walks away, preaching ethics, make him regret the virtue inside. Shove him deeper and deeper in the mud and show him how much more happy and prosperous our wicked boys and girls are. Make him regret that he was honest by snatching away everything from him and giving it to our obedient children.” K laughed coldly.
