      • the only insect I am scared of are scorpions- they give me heebie jeebies, the rest are fine to me, including crickets, actually we have a lot of them invading the houses, and I love to hear them singing up close, inside the rooms 🙂 Just a few days back I captured a huge grasshopper type insect (in camera) I wonder if it was cicada! or if we have them at all! we do have locusts but have not seen them.

      • We have some creepy looking spiders around here. I’m not really scared of spiders, but I am tired of them biting me. There are scorpions here, too, but I have never seen one in our yard. Crickets are nice. We sometimes have a bunch of them here in town. Sometimes there are so many that it is hard to step out of the car without stepping on one. Thankfully, that doesn’t happen too often. Have you posted a picture of the bug that you captured? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a locust around here or not.
        Have a blessed day. 🙂

      • till date I have been bitten by a spider only once, it was painful! that many crickets!!!! wow! we see one or two, even when they are holding a chorus outside. I will share a picture of both the insects and give you the link. Maybe you can recognize them!

you too have a wonderful, blessed day!
        love.

      • Oh I hope that you don’t ever get bitten by a spider again. When it happened to me, it was a brown recluse and it opened a big hole in me. It was very deep, up to the first knuckle on my finger and big around, too. It took over a month for it to heal.
I look forward to seeing your insect photos. Thank you. 🙂
