A poor girl became the friend of a princess
The princess showered her with love
The girl returned the love in thousand-folds,
As if her heart was blessed like a lotus kissed by sun.
Every morning she used to pick up wild flowers,
And bring them to her beloved friend
The princess used to kiss each and every bloom,
After kissing her friend she placed them in gold vase.
The king saw his darling daughter’s love
And asked the best jewelers of his kingdom
To create the best vase with most beautiful flowers
With priceless jewels for his sweet daughter.
The flower vase was placed on her bedside table,
Next morning her friend came with wild flowers
Seeing those dazzling flowers she turned around
to throw the humble wild flowers away.
The princess ran to her and took the flowers,
Kissed each and every one of them and then her friend,
Then placed them in the same vase and said,
“Your love and my father’s love both are priceless to me.”
