identical yet dual for 3WW n Truth & peace 24.3.11

The Thursday Post and Thursday Blog for 24.3.11 are posted. Everyone is welcome to share his/her work in the comments section. It will be a great joy to read your works which you want to share.

These blogs are an attempt to share amongst us, this group of beautiful friends the things that move them- things they want to change or do not want to change in this earth. Things they want to share with friends who are looking for love and peace.

The participation has to be spontaneous, so shall be the reading of the gifts left by other friends.

Any one who is interested can leave his/her work’s URL in the comments of The Thursday Post or Thursday Blog.

Will love to see you there!

All the best!

The Thursday Post

Thursday Blog

one face is a sage,
the other one a monster,
dual character.

sometimes they merge,
become identical,
then they split again.

unraveled seldom,
a rare volley bares,
the true soul within.

a volley of words,
expose identical,
yet dual being.

these again are interconnected.

Each week, I post three words. You write something using the words.
Then come back and post a link to the contribution with Mr. Linky (but please, link to the exact post, not your blog). As always, there’s no hard-and-fast rule that you have to post on Wednesday.

But I invite everyone to check back often to read and comment on other contributions. This is, after all, a community for writers who clamor for feedback.

(With that said, I’m still having interweb problems and will visit as I have appropriate bandwith.)

This week’s words:
Dual; adjective: Composed of two usually like or complementary parts; double.

Identical: adjective: Being the same, exactly equal and alike.

Volley; noun: A bursting forth of many things together; verb: To be discharged in or as if in a volley.

A bookworm transformed into an addicted writer. I love to write and illustrate them myself. By love I mean love, no half-hearted relationship, a full-fledged, passionate love, I can’t pass two days in a stretch without writing/painting (cyber), just feel empty like lovers do when their lovers are away on a tour! Even though I am thoroughly enjoying self-publishing with amazon, but if you like my work and want to publish my works in your magazine, books or better if you want to publish a book of my works please make me very happy by contacting me. Or if you want to sell my works on commission basis only!! contact me, I will be quite relieved. Honestly writing and selling your own work is a very BORING combination. So you are more than welcome! Mail me, or go to- my blog (I have 16 blogs in wordpress, all active, some on daily basis, every one on weekly basis screaming and vowing my LOVE for writing and painting- this one is first-born, so special) (You will get the link to my remaining blogs there) or you can check out my ezines- monthly- And if you want fb you can go to my page, linkedin- my email id and I am in goodreads and completelynovel too I guess I said enough about myself, right? You will forget if I stuff too much here, so if you are curious to know this humble creature just join me in my blogs :)

  1. Good words in a good poem, but, do you know, dual personality does not have to be only Good/Bad; I have known one or two people whose everyday ‘nice’ character hid their other-self, which was Saintly!

  2. Trisha, I’ve been too busy in the last couple of months and completely missed this prompt. I can’t do it this week because of my schedule, but will sign up for site updates. (I usually avoid doing this because of Internet issues where I am now).

  3. Great thoughts in the Haiku’s with the three words Trisha, a perfect dual personality exposed and I’m sure all can identify themselves as being that sometime or other!!

  4. i like the subject, it works well with the words. the simplicity and careful amount of words is refreshing

my poem is actually about twins in the metaphorical sense,
the characters are twins because they each have multiple sides to their personalities, multiple faces.
thanks for the comment though, it meant a lot.
